Sander Saarmets is an Estonian composer and electronic musician. His debut album "Naterijeka" was released in 2005 by Ulmeplaadid, a small but influential Estonian record label. Sander has studied electronic music and composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
Having had mostly written for dance theatre, exhibitions, and short-films, 2011 brought an opportunity to compose for a full-length documentary. Jaan Tootsen’s "Uus Maailm" (The New World) was later voted Estonia’s Best Film of 2011 by the Association of Estonian Film Critics.
